Kompass: Navigating Your Way to Academic Success!
Who Should Apply?
Students planning to major in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Architecture, Planning & Design, Education, Arts & Sciences, or Health & Human Sciences at K-State in Fall 2025. This program is for all students, including First Generation, and FAFSA Eligible.
What is Kompass?
- Kompass is a free three-day extended orientation program August 17-20th, 2025.
- Kompass students will receive academic success support, participate in team-building activities, workshops, and business professional etiquette classes.
- The program extends into the first academic year with mentors, professional development, and academic monitoring
- Kompass students will be eligible for a one-time scholarship for their freshman year.

Kompass is FREE, you'll meet life-long friends, and be more prepared to start your K-State classes in the fall. It is a GREAT experience!

How To Register & Apply for Kompass:
Step One: Fill out this online survey
Step Two: Once the Kompass coordinator receives your online registration, the College Directors will make final selection decisions.
Step Three: Finalist students will be sent information packets to complete in order to be full accepted into the program.
