S.A.F.E. Zone Advanced Workshop - Trans Language and Trans Competency
Synopsis:
The Trans Language and Trans Competency S.A.F.E. Zone Advanced workshop will cover how to use and understand basic terminology surrounding gender identity and transgender and nonbinary individuals. Participants will learn how to incorporate trans competent practices into professional and interpersonal interactions and will be able to ask any questions about transgender inclusion and terminology.

Allies can be any trained faculty, staff, student, or community member at Kansas State University and in the Manhattan area. We invite people in various departments, majors, and fields across campus and Manhattan to become S.A.F.E. Zone Allies.
